Dr. Ehfad M. Shah

Dr. Ehfad M. Shah - Maricopa, AZ Dentist

Dr. Shah grew up in Philadelphia, and he moved to Arizona in 2002 for the warmth and sunshine. He loves living in the desert, and he’s happy to be serving your community with the gentle, family-oriented dentistry you deserve! He loves the small town charm of Maricopa, too, especially when he runs into patients while at the supermarket or out to lunch. Make sure to say “hello” when you see him.

Dr. Shah completed his undergraduate studies at La Salle University in Philadelphia before going on to graduate from Temple University Dental School in 2001. He has been practicing general dentistry in the valley since then. To fulfill his responsibility to pursue continuing education, Dr. Shah attends dental conventions, seminars, and lectures. He enjoys all aspects of dentistry and knows that continuing his training helps him stay the most qualified he can to care for your dental needs.

In his personal life, Dr. Shah enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, and his parents, who have retired in this area. Dr. Shah likes to take advantage of the outdoor activities around the valley, such as hiking Camelback Mountain and biking on South Mountain, and he loves to take weekend trips to California.

Dr. Shah supports charities such as the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Arizona and the Lance Armstrong Foundation (LIVESTRONG). For more info about fighting blood cancers, visit: www.leukemia-lymphoma.org.

I have been living in Arizona since May of 2006 when my husband retired from the United States Marine Corps.  We currently live in Casa Grande, Arizona, but have lived in many exciting places because of the military.  California, Hawaii, North Carolina, and Japan.  We choose to live in Arizona because of the beautiful weather and the family we have here. We have two beautiful children, two crazy dogs and a very social cat.  I love to read, draw, and decorate.

I decided on the profession of Dental Hygiene after being a Dental Assistant for four years in Hawaii.  I love the idea of educating and helping people with there oral health. I look forward to each day and the adventure it brings, by teaching and hopefully motivating each patient of there individual needs.

What you love about your job:
Everyday brings something new! I love that I work in a fast paced environment that constantly challenges me to be very active in my position.  I love the relationships that I form daily with our patients and helping them be a part of the quality service that we work very hard to offer. I also love that we can turn an apprehensive patient into a satisfied patient.

Personal interest:
My interests are my boys- my wonderful husband and our son! They are behind my every smile! I also enjoy spending time with my entire family, watching movies and reading (preferably something other than Goodnight Moon).
